Environment Oregon is currently hiring. If you’re ready to speak up and take action to protect Oregon’s air, water and open spaces, we may have a position for you. We are currently seeking applications for:
Environment Oregon Director
We are seeking a State Director to lead our fight to preserve and protect Oregon’s environment. Pick issues and develop and help implement campaigns to establish common-sense protections for Oregon’s environment, particularly in the areas of coastal and land preservation, reducing global warming pollution, and making the transition to a clean energy economy. More.
Environmental Fellowship
We
are accepting applications for an Environmental Fellow to work with
Environment Oregon or one of our partner state environmental groups
around the country. Fellows serve as the organization’s public face
for their program areas, and responsibilities include research,
lobbying, media outreach, fundraising, and more. More
Environmental Campaign Staff
Now is the time to work for change. This summer we have the opportunity
to take big steps toward ending our dependence on oil, reducing global
warming pollution and preserving our state's environment. But there's
one thing that we know we need to win--citizen support and grassroots
action. That's why we've partnered with the Fund for the Public Interest
to hire college students, graduates, and activists across the state to
go out into communities to talk with citizens about the issues, raise
money, and build membership for Environment Oregon. Staff also have
the opportunity to work with the media, build coalitions and mobilize
activists. Similar positions are available in more than 50 offices
across the country. For more information or to apply, visit www.jobsthatmatter.org.
